Coral reefs are thought of as those found in shallow water, in warm places. Indeed, many of them are found here.
However, it is becoming increasingly clear, that this is not the only reefs in the sea. Given the amount of carbon that a reef can absorb, it is essential for us to learn to conserve this one quickly.
