Whether you run a lodge or campsite, within a famous national park or you merely encounter wildlife on your land or around where you live, this website has always been intended to help. The current protected areas of the planet are not nearly enough to retain healthy populations of many wild animals. In 2019 it is estimated that roughly $343 billion was spent worldwide on wildlife tourism. There is therefore a great hunger for people to encounter wildlife in its natural habitat.
If you are here, you are either considering listing your wilderness destination with us, or have already done so. Our rationale is that if we can increase the income generated from the natural world, more people will be interested in protecting the wildlife around them. We intend to do this by simplifying the research phase by putting all the information you would need to carry out a trip in one place – along with the ability to book each section.
There are a variety of resources on this members page. We will have a variety of forums, discussing issues ranging from predation and damage prevention from the animals sharing your land, to getting bookings on this site. These will be listed under our three different types of wildlife encounter (wild places, In the shadow of mankind, and Hides) . In each there will also be a forum which is there to allow you to request a new forum on a specific subject.
We don’t intend to cost you anything without bringing you in money first – that is why the website works on a commission basis. Below is a link which will take you into our area for submitting your wild place. Whether you work in a lodge or campsite in a protected reserve, or you live on the edge of one, or perhaps you work somewhere, where wildlife still roams -farmland, forestry, mountains. This sites aim is to make sure that those who live with wildlife can profit from it, and those who do not, can easily find out about it, and visit (for a small fee). Our fee is simply 10% of the income that we bring in for you – due after the visit has occurred.

You will have access to the features of this page before you have submitted your wilderness area, but this will not be permanent. Help us make sure that what ever your land use, the presence of wildlife does not cost more money than it brings in – and hopefully a great deal more.

We are keen for all “advertising” to be completely natural. As such, we are keen to put up any posts you would like to write. If you have joined us as a member listing a wild destination, then your destination listing must be live before we will post your articles to promote it.
