The Grauers Gorilla population is twice as big as thought! Out of the woods? Not so fast

The Grauers gorilla, also known as the Eastern lowland gorilla (confusingly often found in the mountains, just not exclusively as the mountain gorilla is) is a close relative of the mountain gorilla.

Alongside our members area, we have a second area for you to get involved. This second one is aimed at all readers of the site (Ambassador supporters). If you are like me, you are worried about the state of the natural world, and love seeing wildlife but might not have time to do as much as you would like - but would like to do your bit to save as much of the natural world as you can. We can't visit every wilderness on the planet, yet it is a far smaller task for all the readers of this site - particularly as it grows.
