Austria Czech border - small wolf pack, likely to increase if not poached

A small pack of 4 or 5 was found to have set up territory in this area in the last few years

Often areas along borders of countries can be more sparsely used, and in these spaces wild animals often find territory. A small wolf pack has done this in the last year or two. Encouraging locals that there are benefits to the presence of predators in the area, will give them added reason to find non-lethal ways of coexisting with these intelligent predators. Below is a booking.com map of the area, though we hope to add further places to stay as well. Please book through this site if possible, and make it clear to your hosts why you are visiting.
