Republic of the Congo

Republic of the Congo

The republic of the Congo still has 61% primary rainforest (68% is still forested), however just 13.8% of the country is protected, leaving over 50% of the country covered by rainforest which is not protected. As with other rainforest, the loss of this area would likely affect the whole world, as it would bring us one step closer to damaging climate change.

I am well aware that at the current time, this country does not have any destinations. I hope to add some in the near future.
