Cinamon-chested bee-eater

The blue-bearded bee-eater is a species which is found (as the map shows) in parts of India as well as further east. Generally preferring forested areas, with think to thinner forests, with plenty of clearings.

It has a loud call, though this is relatively rarely used.

Like other bee-eaters, it digs a tunnel into a mud bank, which can be 1m deep.
