Mustelidae family

This is a fascinating, wide ranging family. There are 66-70 (there is some discrepancy about some of these species as to whether they are species or subspecies).

These families range a great deal, from just the one species – such as subfamily mellivorinae which only contains the honey badger and subfamily Taxinae which contains the American badger to other families which have many species included.
