Just 4% of the Ivory coast is still covered in primary rainforest, while a further 4.8% is secondary rainforest and other tree cover. However, a total of 22.96% of the country is protected, though whether this gives space for forest regeneration, is at this time unclear. I will list these protected areas below (over time).
